Checkra1n Jailbreak for iOS 14

Checkra1n, based on the checkm8 bootrom exploit, already supports jailbreaking iOS 14 – iOS 14.3. However, the problem is that the tool only works on older iPhones and iPads using the A10/A10X, A9, and older chips. This means it is currently only possible to jailbreak a handful of iPhones and iPads using checkra1n running iOS 14 – iOS 14.3:

Checkra1n also supports jailbreaking iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus, but the problem is that it requires one to turn off passcode, Face ID, and/or Touch ID. With Face ID/passcode set, jailbreaking an iPhone X/iPhone 8 will lead to stability issues. It does not support iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, or the latest iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Checkra1n has so far received multiple updates to improve its iOS 14 – iOS 14.3 jailbreak support, but it is unlikely that the team will resolve the issues with iPhone X and iPhone 8 series.

How to Bypass Jailbreak Detection:

You need to add the following tweaks on Cydia to block jailbreak detection on apps that don’t run on jailbroken devices.

Method 1: JailProtect

1. Open Cydia and tap on Sources > Edit
2. Now tap Add and type in the following URL – http://julioverne.github.io
3. Tap on Add and when it’s been added, tap on Search and type in JailProtect
4. Tap on Install
5. When it’s done, you can open Settings > JailProtect to configure it

Method 2: UnSub

You do need to respring your device anytime you want to use the UnSub tweak.

1. Open Cydia and go to Sources
2. Tap Edit > Add and type in https://repo.nepeta.me
3. When it’s added, go to the Search tab and type Mitsuha Infinity
4. Tap Install and wait.

The tweak can be configured by going to Settings  > UnSub

Method 3: Liberty Lite

1. Open Cydia and tap Sources > Edit > Add
2. Type http://ryleyangus.com/repo/
3. When it’s been added, open Source and tap on All Packages.
4. Find and install Liberty Lite ( make sure to delete any earlier versions from your device first )
5. Open Settings > Liberty Lite to apply the patches and configure the tweak
6. Tap on Block Jailbreak Detection and set the toggle for the apps and games.

Признаюсь, что иногда использую джейлбрейк для взлома внутриигровых покупок. Однако, делаю я это исключительно в ознакомительных целях.

Многим знакома ситуация, когда ребенок просит купить новые уровни, героев или какие-нибудь фишки в детской игре. Прошел 1-2 ознакомительных уровня, а остальные покупаются за деньги. Сыграл одним персонажем, а еще несколько доступны после совершения внутриигровой покупки. Отличная модель монетизации которая в разы приятнее надоевших всем подписок.

Так некоторые разработчики пытаются заработать, практически не создавая ничего нового либо выставляя серьезный ценник за минимальный набор контента.

Покупаешь ребенку мега-пак в игре за 500 рублей, а он уже через 15 минут говорит, что новинки закончились – нужно купить еще.

Джейлбрейк в таком случае позволяет “ломануть” игру и убедиться, стоит ли покупаемый контент запрашиваемой за него суммы.

Новшества, которых хватит ребенку на несколько часов изучения, стоят каждого потраченного рубля. Сбрасываю приложение и совершаю реальную покупку. Если же вижу минимум контента за высокую оплату и приложение сразу же удаляется с планшета.

Я осознаю весь вред пиратства и понимаю, что разработчикам нужна мотивация для создания новых приложения и поддержки старых. Однако, таким способом я проверяю создателей детских игр на жадность.
